| Retreating surf at Oldshoremore |

The sun disappeared over half an hour ago on a short winter’s day, leaving a fading band of light on the western horizon above the beach at Oldshoremore, on the far NW coast of Sutherland. A long exposure has created lines of surf, hurrying back to join the receding tide.
